Danville, AL. – The MMI men's and women's cross-country teams concluded the regular season at the Warhawk Invitational, hosted by Calhoun Community College yesterday afternoon.

Lauren Clayton completed the 5k race with a time of 22:36 with teammate Nyema Walker finishing at 25:45.

The men's team finished 10^th overall, 4^th among all Alabama Community College Conference teams. Tyrell Downs paced the Tigers with an 8k time of 28:24.  He was followed by Carter Reed (28:38), Jamisen Melton (19:08), Alexander Lee (29:29), Henry Barrett (30:23), Lorenzo Demaio (30:37), Andrew Huddleston (30:47), and Sawyer Paquin (32:06).

The next opportunity for both teams to compete will be at the ACCC/NJCAA Region 22 Championship Meet on Friday, October 24. The meet will be held at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama with the men's 8k race starting first at 8:00 a.m. The women's 5k race will follow at 9:00 a.m.
