Jasper, AL. – The MMI men's basketball team took a 37-31 lead into halftime of last night's ACCC North-South match-up against the Bears of Bevill State Community College, and finished with a three-point victory, 68-65.

Quandre Burroughs led the Tigers with 21 points on 7-for-11 shooting, 5-for-7 from behind the three-point arc.  Anthony Bryant added 18 points with five rebounds.  Myles McClain dished out seven assists with 11 points.

Cameron Spain grabbed a team high nine rebounds.  Eli Elston finished with nine points and eight rebounds for the Tigers, now 3-2 on the season.  Rounding out the scoring for MMI was Isaiah Green (2), Spain (2), Elijah Marsh (2), and Tyrone Wright (1).

MMI will welcome the Cardinals from Gadsden State Community College Monday, November 21, before heading home for Thanksgiving.  Tip-off for Monday's game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
