Hanceville, AL—The Lady Tigers clawed their way to a 5-4 win over the Lady Lions of Wallace State Community College-Hanceville on Wednesday afternoon at the Wallace State Tennis Courts, winning two of the doubles matches and splitting the six singles matches.  Julia Kelly and Madelyn Dibble prevailed 8-5 at first doubles, and Anna Waller and Eve Crossett doubled up their opponents, 8-4, at second doubles.  Kelly limited her opponent to two games, 6-0, 6-2, in first singles, and Waller allowed three games in her 6-2, 6-1 win at second singles.  The match teetered back and forth in the first set of flight 3 singles, with Dibble eking out the first-set tiebreaker, 7-6 (5).  Dibble went on to win her match, 7-6 (5), 6-1, and, in the process, clinched the overall match win, 5-4, for the Lady Tigers.
