Brewton, AL. - The MMI Lady Tigers earned a doubleheader split at Coastal Alabama CC-East. They will finish their ACCC North schedule this week against Shelton State CC with the final home game scheduled for Saturday, April 30, with a 1:00 p.m. scheduled start.

Game 1: MMI 3 Coa-E 4

Carly Taylor, Jessica Cross, Maris Stinchcomb, and Erin Babineaux each had a hit in the game one loss with Taylor, Stinchcomb, and Babineaux each hitting a double and Cross a homerun. Kinley Bolton took the loss from the circle with six innings pitched. She gave up five hits, four runs (two earned) with five walks and nine strikeouts

MMI 14 Coa-E 3

The Lady Tigers rallied in game two to claim a split in the non-conference doubleheader. Maris Stinchcomb blasted a homerun and finished 2-for-3 with four RBI. Jessica Cross and Kaela Gimberg each went 2-for-4. Cross scored three times with a walk and three RBI; Gimberg had an RBI with one run scored. Also collecting hits were Carly Taylor, Erin Babineaux, Jaycie Armstrong, Jazmin Healy, and Meredith Taylor. Alexus Lambert earned the win with 5.1 innings pitched. Nine hits, three runs (two earned), two walks and five strikeouts. Harleigh Anderson worked 1.2 innings in relief with three hits, no runs, a walk and three strikeouts.
