Tigers Place 5th at Falcon Classic

Montevallo, AL. – The MMI men's cross-country team placed 5th overall out of 20 teams at the Falcon Classic Friday evening; and 2nd among ACCC schools.

Freshmen Peter Paccassi (26:38), Sam Myers (27:41), Thomas Burch (28:02), and Abubakr Jallow (29:10) paced Marion with sophomore Ben Stewart (29:39) rounding out the top scorers.

Parker Hicks (29:51), Michael Cody (30:31), Nelson Troy (30:40), Barrett Draiss (31:24), Amarion Booker (32:07), Jeremy Garcia (33:46), Joshua Gaffney (33:53), Joshua Romero (34:47), Tyler Druskoff (36:25), and Jacob Hilb (36:48) all ran for MMI against some top NCAA Division II competition.

MMI will travel to the University of West Florida this week to compete in the Argonaut Invitational on Friday, September 22.  The men's 8k race will start at 7:30 a.m.
