Montevallo, AL. - The Marion Military Institute men's cross country team was led by sophomore Kendall England on a rain soaked 8k course at the ACCC Championship Meet, held on the campus of the University of Montevallo last Friday morning.  England's time of 28:04.87 earned the Moody, Alabama native a 7th place finish and an NJCAA All-Region medal.  Freshman Michael Welborn finished 9th overall with a 28:21.06 time.  He was followed by fellow freshman runner, Aaron Brown, who finished with a time of 28:45.09.

Rounding out the rest of the MMI Tiger squad that finished in 2nd place as a team were: Daniel Garza (31:15.53), Adrian Lopez (33:52.40), Jeremy Hitt (34:07.56), Raul Martinez (35:37.66), David Eldredge (37:51.31), and Brandon Reiter (44:14.28). 

The team has qualified for the NJCAA National Meet to be held at the UNM Norh Golf Course in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
