Oxford, AL. - The Marion Military Institute men's cross country team was paced by freshman Michael Welborn to give the Tigers an 11th place finish Saturday morning at the 14th Annual JSU Foothills Invitational. Welborn, who finished with a personal best time in the men's 8k race of 28:06.2 was followed by teammate Kendall England.  England's 25:12.1 mark was also a personal best, his second of the fall season.  Aaron Brown finished third for Marion with a time of 28:47.9.

Daniel Garza (31:31.6), Ethan Nelson (31:45.1), Adrian Lopez (32:38.8), Thomas Little (33:40.2), Raul Martinez (33:41.4), and Brandon Reiter (42:24.2) rounded out the runners for MMI as they will take this week off before heading back to the University of Montevallo for the UAB Blazer Classic next Friday.
