Bryant and Burroughs Earn ACCC Postseason Awards
Marion Military Institute's Anthony Bryant and Quandre Burroughs have been named to the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) postseason awards for men's basketball.
Anthony Bryant, freshman guard from Shreveport, LA., has been named First Team All-South and Second Team All-Region. Bryant averaged 18.9 points per game for the Tigers along with 4.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.6 steals. He shot 44% from the floor, including 34.2% from the 3-point line and 73.8% from the free throw line.
Quandre Burroughs, sophomore guard from Coffeeville, AL., has been named Second Team All-South. Burroughs averaged 20 points per game for Marion along with 2.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.6 steals. He shot 42.9% from the floor including 43% from behind the 3-point line and 84.1% from the charity stripe.
