Gaines' 39 points Not Enough as Tigers Lose in OT
Marion, AL. – Sophomore Kenney Gaines, Jr. scored a career high 39 points but it wasn't enough as the Tigers dropped a home contest to the Parsons of Snead State Community College in overtime, 110-112.
Jordan Long scored 25 points off the bench for Marion while Brandon Jackson added 16. Also scoring for MMI was Marselis Jones (9), Dimari Flynn (8), Derrick Hutchins, Jr. (6), Nyrek Wheeler (5), and Kenneth Wilburn, Jr. (2).
The Tigers will host Wallace State Community College for their final regular season game Thursday, February 24, with a 7:00 p.m. scheduled tip.
