Monroeville, AL. – The MMI Tigers took a two-point lead into halftime on their way to a 78-75 victory Friday evening at Coastal Alabama CC-North.

Derrick Hutchins, Jr. led Marion with 21 points and 10 rebounds.  Jordan Long added 19 points and Kenney Gaines, Jr. finished with 16 points and five assists.  Nyrek Wheeler grabbed a team high 13 rebounds while scoring seven points. 

Also scoring for MMI were Myles McClain (9), Brandon Jackson (5), and Dimari Flynn (1).

The Tigers will travel to Wadley, Alabama Monday, February 7, for an ACCC North re-match against the Bisons of Southern Union State Community College.  A 7:00 p.m. tip-off is scheduled.
