Decatur, AL. - The MMI Tigers dropped their ACCC North league opener to Calhoun Community College yesterday afternoon and will look to rebound Saturday afternoon when they host Calhoun for another ACCC North doubleheader. Game one is scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m.

Game 1 MMI 0 Calhoun 9

The Tigers scattered four hits in the opening game of the ACCC North doubleheader.  Nicholas Copen went 2-for-3 with a double while Michael Rich and Mason Green recorded a hit each in the loss.

Caleb Junkin took the loss from the mound with Zakye Holiday seeing action in relief.

Game 2 MMI 2 Calhoun 4

Bryson Kirk went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Marion's offense which only produced three hits in the loss.  Hunter Stowe recorded the third hit for Marion.  Jaxson Lucas took the loss for Marion after working three innings from the mound.  Mason Elmore and Jackson Knox also saw action in relief.
