
The Alabama Community College Conference recently released their postseason awards for baseball and softball.
Marion's lone baseball representative was sophomore first baseman Logan Tayor. "Pops" was named to the All-North team. He finished the year with a .386 batting average. In 153 at-bats, he scored 34 runs with 59 hits. Seven of thise hits were doubles, with one triple and six homeruns. His on-base percentage and slugging percentage was .459 and .562, respectively.
Freshmen Yasmin Cottingham and Danielle Phillips were selected to Second Team All-North for softball. Cottingham scored 33 runs on 46 hits for a .264 average. She hit 10 doubles, two triples, and eight homeruns. Phillips finished with a .243 average with 23 runs scored. She recorded 42 hits and 44 RBI's for the Lady Tigers, with five doubles and nine homeruns.
