Sophomores Recognized as Tigers Sweep Snead State

Marion, AL - The MMI sophomore baseball players were recognized before Saturday afternoon's doubleheader against Snead State Community College.  Marion was able to sweep the Parsons from Boaz, Alabama by the scores of 13-1, 7-2, 7-2, and 5-1.  Those four wins solidified the Tigers place in the upcoming ACCC Tournament May 13-18, 2016.  Marion is currently 34-13-1 overall and 14-10 in ACCC North action.

The Tigers will face Central Alabama Community College in the last regular season series with Thursday's doubleheader at home; first pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.  They will wrap up the regular season on the road at CACC in Alexander City on Saturday afternoon.
